Whitingham is a town in Windham County, Vermont, United States. The town was named for Nathan Whiting, a landholder. The population was 1,357 at the 2010 census. Whitingham is the birthplace of Brigham Young, the second president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and founder of Salt Lake City, Utah. Whitingham is also the headquarters of the North Atlantic Conference. Its village center is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Whitingham Village Historic District.
